From my experience,

Fire signs will likely go kick the **** out of whoever hurt you, especially Aries.

Air signs will try to make you laugh and get your mind off things, especially Gemini.

Water signs will lend you a shoulder and hug you. (except some Scorpios lol, they just tell you to get over it)

Earth signs will listen to you vent and offer advice.
